From a Mustard Seed
to an Oak Tree
The story of Daily-Need Group can be compared with a mustard seed that germinates and grows to become an OAK tree.
It began as Daily-Need Chemist in 1970 at 134, Nnamdi Azikiwe Street, Lagos Island. Our first manufactured product — PAULINA Beauty Cream — launched in November 1972. Pharmaceuticals followed in 1973 with Penicillin Ointment, and by 1974 we had moved to our Matori factory and launched the iconic Daily-Need Toothpaste.
Over five decades later, we have grown into a Group of three companies manufacturing premium pharmaceutical, food, and personal care brands — with a world-class factory built to NAFDAC, WHO, and USFDA cGMP standards.
